Levert is currently recruiting two Environmental technicians – Waste Water Treatment Plant Operators with our client in the mining industry, north of Cochrane, this is a camp rotational position.
Second position is local to Cochrane – Monday to Friday work week with casual on basis at times for the weekend.
As a member of the Site Services Water Treatment Crew, the successful candidates will be part of a team of operators looking after 2 plus 1 Water/Waste Water Treatment Plants.
Job Summary:
- Minimum 3 to 6 months hands on experience operating water/wastewater treatment plants
- WWTO Level 2 and for the drinking water treatment plant minimally Limited surface water operator certificate.
- Experience working for water/wastewater treatment plant operation. Operating principles of valves, pumps, and motors; principles and methods of bacteriological and chemical sewage analyses; effects and problems of industrial waste in water/wastewater treatment processes; safe work practices.
- Successful candidates must be willing and able to accommodate working on an on- call rotational basis.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Drivers license
- WWTO Level 2 and for the drinking water treatment plant
- Limited surface water operator certificate.
