Position PDO Job Description (Role & Responsibilities) Requirements

Sr. Project Control & Planning Engineer/ Project Control & Planning Engineer

Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
minimum of 8-15 years experience in project management of oil and gas facilities, Primavera Planning Software (P6), and SAP utilization in oil and gas projects
Provide cost & planning services in support of engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning & start-up (CSU) activities.
Proficiency in the use of PCs, data management and planning software for oil & gas projects.
Experience with Primavera P6 planning is a must.

Commissioning Engineer

Degree in an engineering discipline
Minimum of 15 years on site commissioning experience. Minimum of 10 years involving oil & gas facilities and pipelines.
Must have sound basic skills in all branches of commissioning management
Familiar with design and engineering standards. Read and understand drawings (PEFS).
Prepare Commissioning and Start-up (CSU) plan and support CSU schedule preparation

Sourcing Officer

Responsible for placing both technical and commercial Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the Contractor specific scope using Rabitah and OLB, including coordination of technical reviews, conduct price comparisons and recommend awards after negotiation.
Responsible for reporting non responding bidders to vendor registration team and relevant CFDH.
Responsible for coordinating unplanned/rush material deliveries
Minimum 8 years of experience in Material Sourcing and Procurement
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Knowledge of MESC codes & standards, DEP / Company standards, International codes & standards, Should cost model, Benchmarking Skills

Protection Relay Test Engineer

minimum a degree, or equivalent, from a recognised university in electrical engineering.
Minimum 5 years experience in a reputed firm(s) in electrical engineering works. Out of the 5 years he shall possess at least 3 years experience in testing and commissioning of protection system including trouble shooting.
The candidate shall possess good knowledge of PDO power system
The individual shall possess PDO AEP (Authorised Electrical Person) authority certificate after successfully undergoing LV and HV ESR courses. He shall be well versed with Shell Electrical Safety Rules (DEP80.64.10.10), PDO Electrical Safety Rules (ESR, SP-1104) & Electrical Safety Operating Procedures (ESOP, SP-1108) and electrical permit system. He should also be familiar with PDO Health Safety & Environment (HSE) rules and specifications.
To execute all electrical Protection preventative and corrective maintenance.

Hydro Test Engineer

Degree/Diploma in engineering (Mechanical preferred).
Minimum of 12 years with experience in oil and gas or petrochemical company
To manage/coordinate hydrotest activities in the operational area to ensure that all works are completed according to applicable procedures and standards of workmanship
Knowledge of and adherence to CONTRACTOR and project specific health, safety and environmental plans and procedures.
Maintain records and deliver timely and accurate updates

CCMS Administrator

Engineering Degree / Diploma.
Minimum 8 years experience in project engineering, construction or commissioning supervision.
Must have full awareness of design office & construction / commissioning work procedures.
Set-up CCMS system in Contractor’s organisation.
Upload the completed Check Sheets and Certificates to CCMS Tool progressively and timely, however the uploading work shall be completed within one (1) week after the relevant construction and pre-commissioning activities are completed.

Preservation Engineer

Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Minimum 10 years experience in Oil and Gas industry on shore, with minimum 5 year in field based maintenance jobs.
Fully understand the requirements of preservation for all critical materials and maintenance and ensure these requirements are met, identifying the problems affecting material due to improper preservation and inform to the Company through the Contract Manager
Responsible for overall control, supervision and implementation of preservation requirements and maintenance of records.
Shall be accountable for implementation and maintenance of preservation procedures and management

Senior Cost Engineer/Estimator

Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
Senior Cost Control Estimating Engineer; Minimum 15 years experience as Cost Estimating and Control in a Construction and Oil and Gas environment.
Skills in SAP, SAP BW, CCES, Candy, Primavera and other Cost control and Estimating systems

SAP Administrator

Degree/Diploma in any discipline
Minimum 5 years experience in SAP PM,PS,MM modules as well as SAP Business Warehouse.
To provide SAP support to projects covering creation of work orders and service entry and all other activities associated with the management of SAP activities relating to the Service
Shall have awareness of design office & construction / commissioning work procedures
Data entry covering cost estimates, material management, value of work done, etc

Industrial Hygenist

BSc of Science or Engineering and MSc/ Diploma in Industrial Hygiene
Minimum of 10 years in related experience.
Shall be responsible and accountable for the implementation and management of occupational health and hygiene management systems in full compliance with the Contract requirements.
Protect the workforce health and well-being at all levels in all areas, from health/hygiene hazards that can result from chemical, biological, ergonomic or physical factors in the work environment.
Ensure employees are aware, trained and equipped to carry out their work safely and equipment is designed, operated and maintained throughout its life so as to minimize health exposures.

Information Management (IM) Lead

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Management or Business Administration
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Projects (Oil & Gas or Petrochemicals etc.,) with more than 5 years experience in Information Management domain executing specific IM Delivery Plan.
Strong presentation, negotiation and written communication skills. Strong leadership capability.
Knowledge and experience of standards and practices related to Project IM strategy/planning, project document control, project data control and handover.
Knowledge of project management and engineering process and interaction with Project Manager, Service Manager, Project Engineers, Discipline engineers

Senior SAP & ProCon System Administrator

ONC/OND level in any stream will be required. A higher qualification; B.Sc / B.A will be preferable.
Omanis shall have the top priorities for Procon Administration position, however, in case of non-availability of a competent Omani to fill the position, expatriates may be considered temporarily until a suitable Omani is found.
Minimum 5 years experience with Procon or equivalent Contract management and/or Document Management tool. Previous experience in managing computer data base, and data entry.
Senior position shall have a Degree/Diploma and have minimum 10 years of experience in Business Management and Procon or equivalent Contract management and/or Document Management tool
Must have awareness of design office & construction / commissioning work procedures

QC Inspector – MDI

graduate or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Welding Engineering or Metallurgy or appropriate craft training and trade certificate with minimum 4 years of inspection experience in construction industries out of which 2 years shall be gained in oil and gas facility construction.
MDI shall possess CSWIP 3.1 / AWS for welding inspection or equivalent and certified to ASNT / EN 473 / PCN level II in RT, PT, MT and UT techniques and BGAS Level 2 or equivalent.

Senior Quality Engineer

Shall be a Graduate Engineer in relevant discipline
Shall have Welding Inspection Qualification (CSWIP 3.1 or AWS- CWI) or equivalent
Shall have at least ASNT –TC-1A level II in RT
Shall have minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in oil and gas projects. Shall have a minimum of 2 years management experience in establishment, operation and maintenance of a quality management system
Shall have technical knowledge of inspection and exposed to multi discipline works of oil and gas construction field.

Shutdown Coordinator (Proposed to be at interior)

Degree in an engineering discipline preferably in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 10 years with experience in oil & gas maintenance, shutdown management and coordination in an oil & gas company, petrochemical company or large contracting organisation.
To plan and coordinate all pre shutdown/shutdown activities to meet PDO schedules across the clusters
Planning and implementation of shutdown activities across all PDO assets.
Attend regular meetings with PDO shutdown team to coordinate and agree priorities.
Ensure shutdown plans and priorities are communicated across the CONTRACTOR teams and being worked to.

Commissioning Engineer (Proposed to be at coastal)

Degree in an engineering discipline
Minimum of 15 years on site commissioning experience. Minimum of 10 years involving oil & gas facilities and pipelines.
Must have sound basic skills in all branches of commissioning management
