Crane Operator/Deck Pusher

Role Description and Responsibilities

  • Operate, supervise and assist in all crane operations, continually assess the requirements of the operation and responsible for handling of materials and other
  • Focal point for all platform lifting and barge
  • Assisting in the assembly, dismantling and lubrication of pumps, deck machinery and other equipment as directed M & B
  • Responsible for assisting in loading and back loading of materials from Boats and Helicopters

 Roles Description and Responsibilities

  • Focal point for all electrical and instrumentation
  • Supervise / operate and maintain the Wellhead Control Panels in conjunction with Surface Safety Valves (SSV), Shutdown Valve (SDV) and Surface Control Subsurface Safety Valve (SCSSV).
  • Supervise / operate, simulate and troubleshoot GE Fanuc/ Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) in conjunction with I/O junction

 Roles Description & Responsibilities:

 

  • Creating of Item Control Numbers (ICN).
  • Raising of Request Purchase Orders (RPOs).
  • Ensure RPOs are raise for stock replenishment of none available parts as per Client policies/standard.
  • Ensure enough detail and accurate data is entered into Job Control Form (JCF).
  • Follow progress of purchase orders by tracking Requisition of materials through Purchase Authorization Request (PAR).
  • Receive and place material in warehouse stock, this involves creating of Local Purchase Orders(LPOs) on items supplied, receipts of same and transaction numbers established, Bin cards tagging of items and shelving onto

  • Stock Transfer from Standard Inventory Control System (SICS) to Chesroc Inventory Control (CICS).
  • Complete transaction document manifest etc, like delivery notes or materials movement record for all materials in and out the platform
  • Communicate with and support all departments, such as planned materials usage (where & when) for all items
  • Review obsolete and none stock materials in the platform warehouse and advise it to
  • Generate accounting codes on material received via purchase orders, like Property Symbolization system Codes (PSSC).
  • Shipment of materials/Equipment with proper documentation such as boat
  • Ensure good housekeeping every weekend in the two
  • Draw up training program/format and mentoring system for new warehouse
  • ssist in other department as directed by the Superintendent and OIM

Requirement:

Bsc or HND Mechanical or Electrical,

Training or certification in materials management

Min of 5years post NYSC experience in similar industry and similar position Possession of valid medical, BOSIET and OSP
