Education and work experience:
Higher or secondary professional education in oil and gas, oil and gas processing technologies, operation of oil and gas fields and not less than 5 years of work experience as per Oil and Gas Production Operator.
Main functions:
- Be responsible for operational area during completion of works and tasks;
- Perform continuous operation of Dehydration and Glycol regeneration units, Flash Gas Compressors, TEG & Hot oil systems, Slug catchers/Test separators system, Flare system, Closed Drain system, Slop oil system, Fuel Gas system and Fuel Gas compressors, Pig Trap system, Firewater and Foam pumps, Process water treatment, Sewage water treatment, Oily Water treatment, Instruments Air compressors and Nitrogen units, areas for portable water storage and Technical water storage, Corrosion Inhibitor system;
- Set up compressors and carry out scheduled and minor repairs to compressors and pumps if required;
- Control operation of pumps, lubrication system, cooling and ventilation systems, control operability of pipelines, valves and instruments;
- Prepare process pump house equipment for operation, eliminate leaks under Lead Operator supervision;
- Take readings of instruments metering gas pipeline operation parameters, calculation of gas and liquid flow rate, maintain Unit 2 production reports;
- Supervise works related to installation and removal of simple and average complexity gas field equipment, units, mechanisms, instruments and communications;
- Participate in preparation of equipment for capital and scheduled maintenance and commissioning of repaired equipment;
- Report to the Engineer or Lead Operator about all revealed equipment damages or failures;
- Maintain area servicing shift documentation;
- Structure of equipment, valves and communications;
- Purpose of instruments;
- Operation rules;
- Physical and chemical properties of crude and products;
- Product storage and registration rules;
- Occupational standards and fire prevention.
