We have a new opportunity for a Mechanical Supervisor to join a leading Oil & Gas Operator in the UAE.

This role will see you responsible for the planning and supervision of the installation, maintenance, repair and test of a wide variety of offshore mechanical equipment. You will also be expected to participate in and / or carry out troubleshooting of complex and routine faults as required.

This is a permanent staff position on a 28 / 28 rotation to our clients Offshore Installations. As well as a highly competitive monthly salary, you will receive a Rotational Allowance, Medical Insurance, Rotational Travel Tickets and a Discretionary Bonus.

Role:

As the Mechanical Supervisor you will be planning and supervising the assigned trade personnel in the day to day maintenance, repair, removal and replacement of mechanical equipment (Gas Turbines, Compressors, Pumps etc).

Your responsibilities include ensuring maintenance schedules are adhered to, relevant records are updated, and that all work undertaken adheres to the Company’s HSE standards.

As Mechanical Supervisor you will be receiving and reviewing incoming work request, analysing requirements in terms of man hours, skill levels, materials and equipment, and assess criticality.

Requirements:

We require you to have a minimum of an HNC in Mechanical Engineering with a Modern Apprenticeship in the mechanical trade.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor, with 8-10 years varied mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair of Gas Turbines, Compressors, Pumps and general mechanical equipment associated with the offshore Oil & Gas industry.

Your experience should include Supervisory experience as well as solid expertise on computer maintenance and materials systems.

In addition to the above we are looking for you to be computer literate, with knowledge of the Microsoft applications and some Oracle / Sap experience.

Excellent English communication skills are a must.
