Qatar Dietsmann is looking to hire the following position for an offshore gas project in Qatar:

“Senior Electrical Technician /Supervisor ” – ( 2 )
With Substation testing and commissioning experience a minimum of 8 years .

MISSION:
Under the responsibility of the Contract Site Representative, Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

1. Electrical Isolation and De-isolation:

• electrical activity
• Mechanical activity
• Production request
• Construction team activities

1. Electrical monthly check:

• Visual checking, data gathering, and parameter reading.
• Inspection & Testing of portable electrical equipment
• Inspection of all equipment groundings

1. Pump motor PM (isolation):

• motor winding and insulation resistance testing
• termination tightening
• Cleaning

1. Production well ESP electrical surface equipment PM (isolation):

• circuit breaker testing (contact resistance and IR
• ESP Transformer testing (IR, WR, PI)
• VSD checking and testing of VSD capacitors and IGBT’s
• Updating and changing parameters in the VSD as per calculation sheet
• Transformer oil sample and BDV testing (BreakDown Voltage test)

1. UPS PM:

• visual checking and measurements of parameters
• Battery discharging using Load Bank(180min)
• Recharging(120min)and electrolyte top-up if required

1. Troubleshooting:

• able to understand and read Single Line diagram, circuit drawings, loop drawing

1. Anomaly Correction:

• troubleshooting and repair of any electrical related Anomalies (power supply, lighting, Sockets)

1. Test equipment:

• multimeters
• Power Analyzer
• Insulation resistance testers
• HVPD for ONLINE high voltage cable testing(PM)
• LIRA for OFFLINE high voltage cable testing(FFSD)
• Micro ohmmeter test kit

CONDITIONS:

Job on a rotational status:

4 W on (Paid)/ 4 W off (Unpaid) – 7 days per week / 12 hours per day

Daily rate USD + 3 meals + Accommodation + Flight tickets from / to

Mobilization date: ASAP (5 days after passing the interview).
