General Responsibilities:

  • The Driller is responsible for supervising and carrying out the drilling and well control and other work in connection with the drilling operations.
  • The Driller is in charge of a safe operation of the drilling control system; drawworks; pipe handling systems; mud curculating systems; and Blow-out prevention (BOP) equipment in accordance with the requirments specified in the operating procedures.
  • The Driller is in charge of the drill crew and ensures the safe completion of all operations on the drill floor including daily preventative maintenance of all equipment.
  • Supervises, coordinates, trains, evaluates the performance of the drill crew.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Well Control Certificate at Supervisor Level issued by IWCF
  • Cyber base / Amphion experienced is required
  • A minimum of 10 years of oilfield experience with at least 5 years in similar capacity
  • OPITO approved Offshore Survival Certificate including HUET
  • Valid Offshore Medical Certifcate by OGUK (Validity of 1 year)

Toolpusher

General Responsibilities:

  • Control all of drilling operations and other interrelated activities being performed during his shift.
  • Consult with the Rig Superintendent regarding the progress of the drilling operation.
  • Ensure that the drilling operation is carried out in accordance with the defined drilling programme and that the operation is executed in a safe and proper manner.
  • Prepare drilling reports.
  • Understand and react immediately in case of hole problems or drill string problems.
  • Ensures that all drilling parameters are followed and adjusts them if necessary to get the best performances.
  • Ensures that equipment is working properly, and is correctly lined up.
  • Maintain inventory of all tubulars onboard.
  • Responsible for the safety working practices of the crew, and committed to preventing damage to the environment.
  • Ensure full implementation of the STOP system, to include the careful monitoring of the crew and the taking part in daily STOP audits as instructed by the Rig Superintendent.
  • Comply with Permit to Work System.

Assistant Driller

General Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the HSE management of drill crew and ensure that all relevant drilling procedures are followed for safe operations.
  • Perform duties as directed by the driller
  • Assisting the Driller in the control of supplies and maintaining of equipment to enable efficient daily operation.
  • Maintaining accurate records when assigned the responsibility of monitoring the Trip Tank.
  • Assisting the Driller in maintaining a neat and accurate pipe tally record.
  • Assigning duties to the DES Maintenance Crew on a daily basis.
  • Assisting and advising the Derrickman in the maintenance of drilling mud equipment.
  • Conducting daily checks of all safety/snub and breakout lines.
  • Conducting derrick inspections and repairs in collaboration with the Derrickman.
  • Ensuring all tools required for present and future operations are available and in good condition.

Our client is an international Company and is currently seeking for a RIG MANAGER (Onshore Based) position to oversee operations of their DEEPWATER FLEET. Position to report toSingapore.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

General Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all functions of drilling program are executed, which includes the operation and monitoring the essential systems of the drilling rig including: the hoisting, well control, mud and power systems found on the rig;
  • Interface with operator representatives, and acts as a liaison regarding all non-standard requests for services.
  • Provide recommendations to Management regarding modifications or additions to Job Safety Analyses in order to maximize effectiveness across all entities of operations.
  • Conduct pre-tour meetings with oncoming crews, outlining current and future tasks and providing safety leadership as it relates to the specific tasks.
  • Work to manage rig operating costs to stay within established company guidelines.
  • Provide critical component information (hours since installed/changed) for all equipment failures requiring component replacement or major repair.
  • Supervise servicing and testing of all rig equipment.
  • Plan and supervises all rig moves.
  • Conduct frequent inspections of the rig and rig location, identifying issues regarding safe and efficient operations of the rig, and makes timely recommendations to rectify any noted problems.
  • Ensure all well control equipment is properly maintained, that necessary repairs are completed timely and all personnel are properly trained to operate the equipment.
  • Establishe and maintain a positive safety cultural climate in all work practices, enabling personnel to slow down or stop tasks that are deemed to have excessive risk.
  • Advise the Superintendent of changing well condition and severe weather conditions or other environmental factors that would inhibit operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of oilfield experience, both in the field and in the office. With at least 5-7 years as a Rig Manager (Onshore Based) managing Semisubmersibles for a reputable International Drilling Contractors

We are looking for a Derrickman to join an upcoming offshore project in Thailand with our client, a leading international oil & gas company.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years as a Derrickman

Must have work experience in Gulf of Thailand

3+ years experience on Jack-up rig
