Brunel are seeking a Field Technician to join our Mining Owner/ Operator Client and work on an 8:6 rotation from Perth to site. This role will be offered on an initial 6 Month contract, with the view to become a permanent staff member in the future. This role will require the successful candidate to work 12 hours a day, 8 days on, 6 days off – flying in and out of Perth. Ideally we are looking for someone who is ready to start immediately. This role is offering great rates.
THE ROLE:
• Update Safe Work Instructions and Job Hazard Analysis.
• Take 5 Safety Checks and Hazard Reports.
• Photograph, pack and transport drill core.
• Collect RC drill samples and arrange despatch.
• Cut drill collars and organise rehabilitation of drill pads.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
• 3-5 yrs experience
• Pilbara experience
• Diamond drilling experience
• Manual C class drivers licence
• Physically fit
• Recent First Aid and 4WD training (within 18 months)
• MR/HR truck licence
• LF high risk ticket
